MEMBERSHIP AND VOTING
All member families in good standing are entitled to notice of and to attend and vote at the meeting. To attend virtually and vote at the meeting, you will need to register at the Zoom link below.
You can renew your membership before the AGM (by 4pm the day prior please) at https://ljna.org/join-us. Or bring payment to the meeting. Each family in good standing is entitled to one vote at the AGM.

Your vote is important. If you do not plan to attend the meeting, please complete and return the proxy so that your vote can be represented at the meeting. Please send it to Blair Sinclair at secretary@ljna.org by 4 pm Friday August 1st. One proxy per family please.

Members can join the meeting by Zoom. Participants will be able to hear the presenters and the presentations, ask questions and vote. To attend you must pre-register.

(*) NOTE ON THE NEW FINANCIAL REVIEW REQUIREMENTS
Under the new Ontario Not-for-Profit Corporations Act, 2010 the requirements for an audit and/or review engagement can be waived by the members of a not-for-profit corporation like ours (a “non-public benefit corporation”) by an Extraordinary Resolution (at least 80% of the votes cast) at a Special Meeting. The motion is to dispense with conducting an audit or review engagement and to dispense with appointing an auditor for the coming year.
